Start up & Early Development

Although business development and particularly partnering is a key element of almost every Biotech Company's strategy, many early stage Biotech companies can not afford or justify full-time business development support. Normally Consultancy is not a solution as typically consultantīs daily rates are prohibitive and whilst consultants can help identify what must be done, they rarely or never help to do it!

Biotech Business has developed an entirely new, structured and hands-on approach to help kick-start business development in spin-out and start-up companies, companies that are transitioning from discovery to development and companies that have technology platforms that could be partnered to help generate revenues.

The service incorporates:

  • • Initial strategic and business planning meetings to help identify opportunities, objectives, milestones and action plans
  • • Quarterly meetings to review strategies, plans and implementation
  • • Detailed implementation including:
    • - Assistance with development of non-confidential and confidential information packs for potential partners
    • - Establishing contact with target partners to identify potential interest/opportunities
    • - Assistance with CDA's, MTA's and preliminary collaboration or licensing discussions
  • • Representation at 3 major International Partnering Meetings/annum including BIO USA and BIO Europe (registration cost included in the fixed fee)

The entire service is provided over a 12 month period for a fixed fee of Ģ2,000 per month which includes the cost of registration for Partnering Events. Travel and subsistence costs are extra.
